COVID-19 Operational Plan
ATTENTION: ALL CLIENTS WILL BE INFORMED OF THIS PLAN BEFORE EACH SESSION
Screening Health Status
Health screening of clients through observation and direct questioning will be done prior to each session. No person to participate in training sessions if experiencing symptoms, known to be in contact with a person showing symptoms, at high risk or have been advised to self-isolate by Public Health.
Physical Distancing Measures
Physical distancing of 2 meters (6 feet) between clients and trainer at all times. No groups more than 6 persons.
Cleaning and Disinfection Procedures
Trainer and clients to use their own dog training equipment whenever possible. Common surfaces and objects to be cleaned and disinfected in between clients.
Hand Hygiene
Proper hand washing and/or hand sanitizing before, during as needed, and after each training session by all.
PPE
Face masks to be used in circumstances as required.
Dog Handling
Dogs will be handled by both client and trainer in a training session, with precautions adhered to as above, as well as taking care not to touch face, etc.
